Welcome to The Bay Escape, a beautiful 3-bedroom home designed for a light, earthy, and comfortable stay - as seen on TV! 🎬 The Bay Escape was featured in a TV show filmed in 2023, adding a unique touch to your stay.

Accommodating up to 8 guests, The Bay Escape features 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor and the other 2 upstairs. All have a gorgeous double bed and an Emma Premium Mattress. The Bay Escape also has a large, comfortable sofa bed in the living room. We can also provide a foldable single bed if required, just let us know in advance.

Walk to Mermaid Quay in under 10 minutes and reach Cardiff city centre in 20 minutes. From The Bay Escape, you’re also within walking distance of some of Cardiff’s major attractions, including the Millennium Centre and the Senedd, as well as some great places for walks along the waterfront, or a variety of delicious places to eat/drink.

We want to make your check-in as smooth and swift as possible, so you can start enjoying your stay right away. When you arrive, you’ll find coffee and tea waiting for you, perfect for having a cuppa and relaxing after your journey. You’ll also receive clear instructions before arrival, and we’re just a message away if you need anything.

Our home is equipped for your utmost comfort and convenience. Relax in the living area with a SMART TV and Netflix, and keep cool with fans in every room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction stoves, and all essential kitchenware. A utility area with a washing machine, pods, an iron and an ironing board, which adds to your convenience. We also provide children's plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. We can provide a travel cot and high chair, let us know when you book your stay if you need them.

In the master bedroom, you'll find a designated workspace, ideal if you want to catch up on work, or work remotely.

The Bay Escape has two full bathrooms: a downstairs bathroom with a standing shower and toilet, and an upstairs bathroom with a bathtub, standing shower, and toilet. Each guest is provided with a bath towel and a hand towel in each bathroom.

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. The property is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, smoke detectors in every room, and a carbon monoxide alarm near the boiler. Our fire safety policy and essential local emergency numbers are included in the welcome packet.

Parking outside the property is reserved for permit holders only, but we've got you covered! Simply send us your car registration, and we'll add you to our permit system.

Accessing The Bay Escape is seamless with our smart lock system. You'll receive the entry code on the afternoon of your check-in, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free arrival. You'll have access to the entire property.

Other things to note
While we don’t allow pets in our properties, we’ve partnered with a trusted local dog and cat boarding service nearby. That way, your furry friends can enjoy a comfortable “home away from home” while you stay with us and be near you.
